Tonight I went to the last concert of the season at the Woodland Park Zoo. The long convoluted story of how the tickets were purchased and, purchased again is not worth retelling but the concert was great! I went with Holly and Kelly and it was a great way to wrap up my summer. We carpooled and parked on the street where my friends Laura and Cliff live because it's only a couple of blocks from the zoo. We all decided it made sense to bring our own food to eat rather than buying it there. Kelly snuck in 2 bottles of wine (one homemade) and brought snacks left over from her sailing adventure earlier in the day. Holly made us individual rhubarb pies. I brought a bag of Pirate Booty (veggie) to share - so lame.

Brandi was awesome and although the weather got a little questionable right before she came on (dark clouds and a bit of rain), it cleared up for her show and the sky was spectacular as the sun went down.
