As teachers, we often schedule most, if not all, of our annual medical appointments over the summer. It's not unusual for me to have 3 scheduled in one day.
Today I had an early morning mammogram done at Providence Hospital - a rather uncomfortable way to start my day but absolutely necessary.
I doubt I will ever have another of these without thinking about the loss of my dear friend Paige last year. What I endured today pales in comparison to what this woman experienced. This is for you buddy.

My afternoon wrapped up with a cleaning and final Invisalign consultation. Yes, you read it right. Guess it's never too late.
