When I planted my slender hinoki cypress last year, I was pretty sure I put it in a good spot. Looking at it every day over the past year, I realized that it really ought to be moved just about 2 feet to the northwest. That's what I did today and it was not an easy task for one person - basically a full grown tree weighing easily over 100 pounds.

I know what you're thinking. . .yard still looks like a pile of dirt. Just bear with me - it's come a long way in the past 2 years. I've done almost everything by myself and I hope to have a detailed post in the next couple of months showing you the transformation. Stay tuned.
