Day 346 - National Boards Renewal

During the 2003-4 school year, I went through the national board certification process along with two of my colleagues at Inglewood Junior High.  We all successfully certified in November of 2004.  It was one of the most exhausting things I've ever done but I have no regrets.  The certificate lasts for 10 years and the renewal date is just a few years away.  We decided to be proactive and get together this summer to start looking at what lies ahead.  Tonya said she'd provide lunch if Kathy and I would travel to suburbia (Duvall).

We decided that the task at hand demanded adult beverages.

Kathy brought dessert from Borracchini's - Big Bird's eyeballs got severed during the trip from Seattle.

Then it was time to get to work so we pulled out our laptops and headed to the NBPTS website.  Actually, Tonya had already printed out some material so Kathy and I were already behind.

Within minutes we experienced a deja vu as our brains were befuddled.
