I moved to Everett 8 years ago. I kept going to my Seattle area doctors, dentist and clinics but after a few years I decided it was time to find people closer to my home. I really liked my Seattle ophthalmologist so I was thrilled when I found a guy here I liked immediately. Got my eye exam reminder in the mail last month so I called to schedule an appointment. The receptionist told me he was moving back to California but he would be here for 2 more days. I snatched up one of his last appointments. He is just an all around nice guy - I'm gonna miss you Dr. Dacanay. Once the technician finished dilating my eyes, here's what I got to watch on the big flat screen. . .mudskippers!
Over the past few years I have gone through three doctors (they kept leaving); I'm hoping the new one I will be seeing at the end of the month lasts for a while.
My day ended with me sipping a blended margarita, eating calamari and chatting with my neighbor Diane as we gazed out over the Everett waterfront.
