Today I hung out across the street helping my neighbors with their garage sale. Seemed like the right thing to do since I threw some things into the sale. They did quite well which surprised us since it was a cloudy, cold Friday. I made very little money today BUT there is a benefit to viewing the merchandise BEFORE the sale. I got the following two items for next to nothing.

My neighbor didn't even want me to pay her for the medicine cabinet door and finally agreed to $1.00. I paid her $2.00 but probably should have paid more. I have something in mind for this door and hopefully I will be able to have a picture for a future post. The lawn chair was from Donna's daughter and it only cost me $5.00. It is unbelievably comfortable. I want to stain it to match my arbor out front and then sew a new canvas seat that I can remove to wash. Also hope to post that later.
Hope I make more money tomorrow because I only cleared about $8.00 today. At least that covered my purchases.
