Day 316 - Bienvenue

Finally arrived in Canada today and I must admit that it was one of the easiest trips I've had here in a long time.  I slept nearly the entire red eye out of Seattle last night.  Then, upon arriving in Boston, I headed quickly to Air Canada to see if I could get on the earlier flight.  I was successful although it did cost me $75 more but it was well worth it not to lose almost an entire day to travel.  Even the customs agent was very nice. . .they are typically kind of cranky at this airport.

My sister and I have a fun tradition that we started years ago.  It all began when she was visiting during my February break.  Her plane arrived on Valentine's Day so I decided to wear one of those crazy heart antenna things on my head.  It got quite a few laughs out of people at the airport and Lee almost fell over when she saw me.  So began the tradition.  We always wear something crazy on our heads when we meet in an airport and, trust me, I am starting to get quite a collection of things.  I have everything from a statue of liberty crown to a daisy.  Here's what each of us wore today.  It's a good thing I wore the flags because I toyed with the idea of a crown in honor of the royal visit.
