Day 319 - Local Fare

Today my sister and I headed to the farmers market in Wolfville.  This is a charming town where my parents and my sister attended Acadia University.  There was lots of beautiful produce to be had as well as baked goods, meat, fish, cheese and local crafts.  I purchased some beeswax candles for a gift. We also picked up cupcakes for the staff at my sister's nursery as well as Indian vegetable pakoras for our lunch.

They had something called "Speckled Lettuce" that I'd never seen before.
I miss my currant bush that I had back in Boston.
These beeswax candles were amazing.
