I developed a really sore area in my left upper arm by the end of the weekend. I kept expecting a bruise to show up as the result of something I bumped into recently. Instead, red spots began to appear, the soreness got worse and started to spread. When the spots got larger, I started to suspect something so I headed to the Everett Walk-In Clinic this afternoon. My fears were confirmed - I've got shingles. Why couldn't my body be satisfied with one round of chicken pox years ago? I decided a picture of the actual shingles would be T.M.I. so I opted for a picture of the horse pills I will be choking down for the next 7 days.
| The pharmacist said I have to take 5 a day so try and take one every 4-5 hours with food. She said they gave me a very strong dose and there can be some unpleasant side effects. Great. |
Heal quickly! I have heard that shingles are rather painful :( What you probably need and won't really get until July 5 is vitamin D therapy!!
