You could almost hear the entire pacific northwest let out a resounding "Yes" when we awoke to a beautiful sunny Sunday. The neighborhood was alive with the sound of lawn mowers and weedeaters and my yard was no exception. I only got about half the back yard weeded and the lawn mowed which I had to mow twice, each time in a different direction. It felt almost decadent to be soaking up some vitamin D while getting something accomplished.
First, some highlights. . .
| the beautiful early purple growth as one of my hostas emerges from the ground |
| my peony "Sarah Bernhardt" made it through the winter |
| nothing says spring like bleeding hearts |
| my giant yard waste toter is nearly full |
Just a couple of low points. . .
| laundry casualty - this poor little guy must have been inside a plastic tarp I ran through the washer |
| as if I needed a reminder to replace the deck this summer. . .my foot went through today |
