Day 235 - Easter Deals

Headed out this afternoon to see if any antique or thrift stores were open.  Very few were open in Snohomish and only the expensive ones at that so I opted to stop by a local nursery.  Picked up three small pots of something called Ptilotus "Joey".  It is from Australia and supposedly thrives in hot dry sites - perfect for my front yard.  I also love scented geraniums.  Found a variety there I've never seen before called Sweet Mimosa and when you rub the leaves, it smells divine. The guy gave basically gave me one plant free because his debit machine wasn't working and I didn't have quite enough cash.

friendly dog who lazily followed me around, at times, with a tennis ball in his mouth

I stopped at Value Village on the way home and found this great old metal locker.  I have several ideas in mind for how I will use it but first, it needs a new coat of paint.  I love blue but this one doesn't appeal to me.

  1. The locker was a great find! What color are you going to paint it?
