As part of my technology training this year, I am required to set up a teacher space on our new district program called "Communicator". The program is supposed to enable students and parents to be able to access ALL of their teachers' information from one place. I'm not totally sold on the program yet as I've had a detailed webpage for a number of years now but I understand the premise and I'm warming up to the idea.
As part of my training, I have to get students to access the Communicator program and, ultimately, access my individual space. I advised students that once they had accessed my page and responded to the question I posed on my discussion board that they could create or modify their existing avatars on their own space.
You can see where their interest was focused. Thank goodness they don't give the kids too many choices to select from because some still manage to come up with borderline inappropriate images.
