This morning we hit the road for our next destination. We were pumped when we awoke to another beautiful sunny day. We drove through part of San Francisco to get to the Golden Gate Bridge.

First stop was the town of Sonoma which was filled with restaurants and interesting shops. These all surrounded a pretty town square. We enjoyed mochas outside at a great cafe and shared an amazing piece of bread pudding - can you tell we like that? Did a bit of shopping at an interesting fair trade shop. I was wishing I had more room in my suitcase because they had spectacular things.

We continued on to our accommodations at the Crocker Inn in Cloverdale. It was situated on the top of a hillside above Alexander Valley. We stayed in a great little cottage pictured below.

We headed down into town for an early dinner of burgers and beers at the local brewpub. I enjoyed the Mighty Shillelagh and Lee had a wheat beer.
