Day 192 - Nothing Special

No catchy title today because there was nothing special about today. . .not that any other day typically includes anything really "special".

The beginning of my day placed me slowly climbing up the hill to the top of the Sammamish Plateau stuck behind not one, not two but THREE buses. The first was a Metro bus that often stops right smack in the middle of the road followed closely by two school buses.  On some days it gets even better when there's a garbage truck added into the mix.

The middle of my day involved my inbox filling with very long detailed messages typically requiring a speedy response, eating lunch at my desk and teaching a lesson I thought would go much smoother and faster.

The end of my day is best summed up in this picture.

It's 6pm on a Friday night and my car is literally the last car in the parking lot - pathetic

In an effort not to be a glass is half-empty gal (which I totally am), I did accomplish some things.  I made a number of notes on how I will revise today's lesson for next year to make it more effective.  I made up for my less than productive day by getting lots done between 4 and 6 pm.  This also meant, there was very little traffic so I flew home in no time.  Upon arriving home, I made myself an awesome herbed turkey and cheeze quesadilla with salsa verde.  In hindsight, probably should have taken a picture of that.
