Students had their first "lab" experience today as they progressed through a series of mini lab stations. The intent of these stations is twofold: 1) to give them some idea of what lies ahead in the curriculum and 2) to give me some idea of what they already know and/or what misconceptions they have.

kids were on task for the most part |
but I did catch these guys doing a little experiment of their own |
and it did make me chuckle (hope their parents have a sense of humor because these shots will be going into my presentation for Curriculum Night) |
