In recent years, the Arts Council of Snohomish County launched a program called Art in Great Spaces. The program enables artists to move into properties in downtown Everett left vacant by former businesses. The artists are able to set up shop while the properties are up for lease in an effort to bring the community together while revitalizing downtown. This studio/gallery now occupies a space where a bridal shop once existed. The Everett Art Walk was started three years ago by local artists. It is a free monthly event (much like Seattle's) on the third Saturday of the month.
