It started off cloudy and grey with a fine mist of drizzle coming down. That always makes me want a good, hot cup of tea. The teapot belonged to my paternal grandmother. The cup has a Maude Lewis painting on it. This old woman lived in Nova Scotia not far from my grandmother. She had no formal training and she painted on anything she could get her hands on, including old pieces of cardboard. We visited her house, a building the size of a garden shed, at least once when I was a child. Her primitive paintings are now famous.
