Although it may not seem very warm to us, I need only glance at my dog to know the temperature is changing. Grady starts to look a bit shaggy as he begins to shed his undercoat (if only I really knew what breeds are in there). Little tufts of fur start sticking out in random places and little fur tumbleweeds start rolling around the house. I could comb and brush for hours and more fur seems to appear out of nowhere. I've actually heard of people who wash and spin the fur into yarn which they then use to make sweaters. OK, that kind of grosses me out.
This pile was created after about 1 minute of brushing. |
