When my brother died in 2004, my sister and I came to the realization that life is too short to waste. Since that time, we have tried to take a trip together each year. The destinations have varied - South Carolina to Scotland just to name a couple. We always have a good time and typically a few adventures along the way. One such adventure occurred on the Isle of Skye. We had to drive on the left side of the road in a car with the steering wheel on the right while traveling over country roads barely able to handle one car. Thank goodness we made it to the Tallisker Distillery before they closed because we both needed a stiff drink. This year we're heading to San Francisco, Carmel and Monterey during my spring break. I'm doing some planning while my sister is in Barbados with her husband. While I am kind of jealous. . .I did get to join them a few years ago.
Love it! Driving trips are the best...you can make your own schedule and no one else to report to. I bet you two would not do well in tour groups :) (neither do Scott and I)
