Day 127 - Pushing My Luck

December has come and gone and I still haven't gotten my new tabs.  As my sister and I like to say, "I'm running a teensy bit behind."  Left work today in the hope that I'd make it to a licensing place in Kirkland only to get there right as they closed.  Not that it really mattered because as I got back in the car, I noticed I needed to get an emission test.  Here's hoping that tomorrow I am able to get to the emissions station AND the licensing place before I get stopped by the law.  I'll be watching my rear view mirror very closely tomorrow.  Rachel, please don't tell your husband on me.

  1. Your secret's safe with me, and to be realistic, unless you're driving like a maniac, you're likely safe. Something ironic.... if left undetected by local law enforcement, tabs that are one month late are the SAME price as those that are 6 months late, 12 months, so and and so forth!!! Seems odd to me. Matt does work tomorrow (Kirkland), so heaven forbid you get pulled over, do drop my name. :)

  2. I got pulled over 8 months after...we completely forgot amongst that super crappy year we had. I was indignant with the cop since I couldn't believe we would do that. One ticket later, I was on my way to Vancouver, WA.
