Day 161 - Thrift Store Finds

Browsing through thrift stores is one my favorite pastimes because you never know what you might find.  While I have my favorite spots, I often pull into any store I come across just to check them out.  These are some of the best deals of the past several months.  The silver items came from a St. Vinny's in Kenmore - it was my first time there.  The pottery was purchased at the Goodwill in downtown Everett.

Sterling silver celtic cross with sophisticated safety clasp - $12.99
I've wanted one of those kitchen composters but $30.00 for some ugly little stainless steel garbage can didn't seem right. I found this great pottery jar for less than $5.00 at Goodwill.

This silverplate tray (Rogers silver, not a cheap import from China) was very tarnished but it cleaned up nicely. - $2.99

  1. I love the idea of using that pottery as a kitchen compost container! I've been wanting one too but feel the same way about spending all that money to put rotting food in it :)
